Sales Report
Report on the feeder cattle sale for Friday November 15th, 2024. 1450 head of feeder cattle in the offering today. A tip of the hat to the consignors, the quality was outstanding to say the least, and just 15 head of un-weaned calves in the whole sale. I've said for the last many years what sells in quality, being vaccinated as many times as possible, and group size. Today we had the Tri-Fecta, many big and small groups of cattle with front end genetics that were handled right!! And a tip of the hat to our BUYER support, the market was as strong on the last cattle in the ring as the first ones in the ring, this doesn't always happen, but it was a very strong market all day! I'd call the market the highest November feeder market in history and the highest fall market in history. With that being said we have had on the longest runs with great fed cattle prices in history, and I believe we will break records again in 2025 with the massive amount of liquidation that we save in 2024!! Again we would like to thank the buyers and sellers for there support and trust in our market, plus a big tip of the hat to the crew out back as we started the sale just a tick after 10 am and the last of the 1450 head was sold at 3:02 pm. We couldn't do that without a GREAT crew!! In the report below we were heavy with steer and heifers weighing 550 to 770 lbs and not as many under 500 this time of year due to the great weather the last 80 days.
